Walking Tour Grand Canal Dock for Residents of the area

Do you live in Grand Canal Dock? Would you like to learn more about the area, and have an opportunity to meet your neighbours?


Grand Canal Dock Residents Association presents a walking tour when you will learn about the rich history of Grand Canal Dock, the largest Docks in the world when they opened in 1796, along with other interesting facts and information. and will take approximately 2 hours. You will hear about the history, heritage, characters, the strange road names and how Grand Canal Dock came to be transformed from dereliction and disuse to the vibrant centre it is today.


The walk takes place on Sunday, 17th October. It starts at 11am sharp. Meeting point - outside the Marker Hotel on Grand Canal Square. The walk is free and open to all residents of the Grand Canal Dock area, and to a maximum of 30 people. Adults and children welcome. Each person (adult or child) must get a ticket via this website in advance. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about where you live, and to meet your neighbours!
